The 2023 condensed edition will focus on the macroeconomic outlook and its impact on the industry, the challenges and opportunities arising from innovative solutions, as well as the latest trends in financial products. As such, leading market players will gather to share their experience and provide insight into how to keep “Thriving in a changing world”. 


Over many years, Deutsche Börse Group has established the GFF Summit as one of the major international events for the secured funding and securities financing industry.

The conference combines the expertise of Clearstream, Eurex Clearing and Eurex Repo, all part of Deutsche Börse Group covering the entire lifecycle of collateral management, bringing together the experience of leading market players and providing insight into current industry developments.

Sustainability

Sustainability and protection of the environment are an integral part of Deutsche Börse Group’s business strategy. That’s why we wish to make a positive contribution also at our conferences.

That’s why the GFF Summit 2023 also follows an environment-friendly approach in line with the Group-wide strategy. Here some examples:

  • Venue: We are closely working with the European Convention Center in Luxembourg, where important enhancements have been made, such as using renewable energy sources or improving the technical installations to lower energy consumption.
  • Catering: There will be a range of sustainable, locally sourced, seasonal catering offered, with plant-based and healthy options available. We won’t use single-use food or drink containers, no plastic cutlery either
  • Badges: We chose a new paper-based format which can be returned at the end of the conference to reuse the lanyards.


Together with our service providers, we make sure to use reusable materials and carefully consider whether and which giveaways or brochures we provide.


What you can do to protect our environment:


While we have taken steps with our partners and suppliers to minimize the impact of our work on the environment, we also encourage you to support us in this initiative by using the free public transport in Luxembourg, choosing your travel options carefully or looking for alternatives to airplane or car. Even if you are dependent on the plane, you can compensate the resulting carbon dioxide. Therefore, please use the website of your airline or visit one of the many providers on the subject. You can also help by using recyclable bottles and packaging.
